We are Matías and Melany, husband and wife, parents, and followers of Jesus from Uruguay. We actively serve at Catedral de Fe – Montevideo UY, our local church, where we have grown in our faith and learned to walk and serve together.

Mat & Mel was born as a response to what God was already doing in us. Before songs or a project, there was a process in which God shaped our hearts and taught us to worship Him with our lives.

We want to lift up our worship as our finest perfume, offering Jesus who we are, what we do, and everything He allows us to build together. Every song is an opportunity to exalt His name and help others encounter Him.

We do not want people to stop their gaze on us, but on Jesus, because we believe that He is the One who transforms lives, restores hearts, and gives a purpose that nothing in this world can replace.

Jesus is at the center of everything.
